Weights are one of the new Accessories introduced to Disgaea 2. All weights grant a stat increase and decrease other stats. Weights also decrease a character's HP to 25% of its total health. This allows many classes to use various abilities that are only available when a character's HP is below 25%. Three classes benefit most from this; Ninjas, Samurai and Wingeds. Another function of Weights is that when a character equipped with a Weight dies, he/she is resurrected at the end of battle with 1 HP. This is particularly useful in Item World, where a useful character, instead of remaining dead, comes back on the next floor. However, when this happens, the Weight is immediately destroyed, so don't waste your time leveling up Weights. Weights are available from the shop once you pass the bill at the Dark Assembly.
