Unique Accessories are unique in that you can only have one at a time, with the exception of the Usagi's Journal, which is difficult to obtain in itself. Most of them are acquired by stealing them off particular Bosses. Because they are unique, if you screwed up leveling one and you want to correct your mistake, you have to get rid of it and get a new one by the same means as before.
