Sinners aren't entirely built for direct attacks. First of all, they have a base 95% chance to perform a team attack with anyone, which means all they have to do is stand next to your other characters that are taking the brunt of the enemy blows. Also, while they have low health, they deal additional damage when dishing out counterattacks. Furthermore, they are complete masters of Fists, which naturally boost the number of counterattacks you can do.
