Majins are absolute masters of all weapons and have great stats, but unlike some other characters, they don't have any aptitudes higher than 120%. This means that they aren't as good as more specialized characters in specific environments. The main downsides to Majins are the short MV and Throw ranges, as well as the inexplicably slow rate of leveling (less than half as fast as Male Fighters), coupled with the phenomenally high level requirements to unlock the successive tiers (four times as high as the Samurai class).

The high point is that a Majin's stats can double if he is the last man standing. This requirement isn't easy to meet: If the Majin is an enemy, all other enemies must be dead (Geo Symbols don't count); if the Majin belongs to you, he must be the only character you have on the battlefield and you must not be able to pull anyone out of the Base Panel, which usually happens when nine (or all) of your characters have died during the battle or when you just don't have any more because some died on other battles.
