Hands are used to steal equipable items from other characters. While hands are consumable, they only disappear from your inventory if you hit. If you miss, you still keep the hand. The higher rank the hand is, the longer range it has. Most hands can be bought at the item store in Holt Village; the Awesome Hand is the only exception.
