Axes are the undisputed weapon kings of damage. Their huge demon-forged blades can cut through opponents with ease and can lower the defense of survivors. Yet, the axe is a pure one-on-one weapon, as it has no special attacks that effect multiple enemies. An axe's special attacks are also mostly close range, yet incredibly devastating. The biggest drawback of an axe is its tremendous weight; as they always lower an axe user's ability to hit. Yet many clever players team an axe user with a gun user so that the Gun can lower a target's speed, making it easier to hit with the axe. Other players tend to equip their axe users with glasses, canceling the hit penalty axes normally impose.
